Article preview: WORLDWIDE DESIGNERS NEEDEDAs we discussed before, this is a preview of an article im gonna post on Deviantart. I believe that we could have our project read by many deviants.

Before this, its important for us to define who is already in, and in wich conditions. If you wanna be a coordinator, please tell us:

Right now, our project needs a name. These are my suggestions, but we need more, so everybody can vote (please, send us your suggestions):

After the name is defined. Will need a logo, that we could define throught a contest too.
COMMUNITY
A community in Deviantart would be easer for us all to update and control it. If somebody tell us how to creat a community inside Deviantart, it would be nice.
Or
We could create an account user for the project (I think it would be the best option).

THIS IS THE ARTICLE WE CAN PUBLISH:
What you think about a worldwide project of an e-zine that show works of graphic designers that work for free to non profit organizations (maybe social care ones)?
Commonly, social care organizations has poor design appeal, and most of them dont know it! So we can donate some spare time to redesign or creat some brand new visual identity... or more:
. logos
. tshirts
. photos
. banners
. websites
. scultures
. presentations to incentivate monthly donations
. and lots more...
We are thinking about "before & after" series, where:
BEFORE: the actual logos, websites, visual identity, folders etc, of non profit organizations.
AFTER: a reshape or redesign. then the artist/designer should comment about the work make, wich softwares were used for it, wich concept, and everything else that could be mentioned.
Then we could make a website, and an eZine with this content.
After defining a nice number of collaborators, we could make a printed edition.
The can start right now thinking about a name for this. And here is the initial suggestions:

We must make sure that the organizations are not bad intentioned ones. We should make some rules for the picks, like:
. non sexist, racist etc, organizations
. non profit organizations
. non financial problems background organizations
. what else (please contribute)?
We can make a list of organizations who want to be helped by us, and then we could let people choose wich one they will help. Sure we cannot allow an organization without any support or an organization with more than one supporter.
And plus, we need to find collaborators with different skills, as:
. graphic design
. vector design
. photographers
. sculptors
. models
. 3D designers
. flash animators
. html programmers
. java or other programmer
. database builders
. free hosting compannies
. copywriters
. etc
This way we could work as teams on our free time, sure.

I asked her to wait till new name and other suggestions come, so that her can write a complete article.
I think we need right now to define the first coordinators.

I'm in marketing and sales and have tossed around some names as well, and I think the ones you have are good, but it doesn't really define yet what the main purpose of the group would be, in my opinion.
Create-Donate is the strongest one that I've thought of and I'm sure other people can expand on that.
If the main purpose is to find artists that are willing to contribute their work for free for a non profit agency to use, that should come across in the name to attract the people that you need.
You won't have a problem getting an organization to accept your designs for free so you don't need to worry as much about the name from that perspective.

Regardless of what you choose, you also want to see if the domain would be available to go along with it. Sometimes though, there are bots that will buy up a name as soon as you check it's availability. Not in all cases, but some. I've had it happen in my industry.
Lots to think about, but a very worthy cause. If this isn't already being done, I think it could be very very successful but will take a lot of helping hands, energy and time.
